Teen Scene bridges the gap between typical teens and teens with special needs by enabling them to enjoy fun and meaningful experiences together.

Teen Scene is designed to help participants develop life skills such as banking, grocery shopping, using public transportation, checking out books from the library, and applying for jobs. This type of training is beneficial to both the member and volunteers as they embark on life after high school.

The program also focuses on participants’ social and emotional needs and enables them to be more engaged and active in community life. Together, under the supervision of trained therapists, participants and volunteers engage in exciting adventures such as spending the day at the Pacific Science Center, taking a trip to the Air and Space Museum, or hanging out and bowling.
