It is with admiration and humility that we inaugurate the Mitchell Stein Fellowship Award.

This award is being established in loving memory of our dear friend, Mitchell Stein z”l, who passed away May 15th, 2008 after a long medical battle. In honor of all the time, energy and enthusiasm in building the Friendship Circle, his friendship and commitment to all of us is truly missed.

Each year, a select group of volunteers will be awarded this honor. The award will be given to those outstanding volunteers that have shown a high level of dedication in volunteering and commitment to the special needs community. The Mitchell Stein Fellowship Award is granted as a partial scholarship to the University of the volunteers choice.
