Meet Friendship Circle's Newest Staff Members!

Thursday, 23 September, 2021 - 6:41 pm

Here at Friendship Circle we already have a wonderful group of staff, volunteers, children, and their families. However, we are always looking to expand our circle. With that being said, we are happy to announce that we now have three new staff members!

Meet Ciara Coughlan - She/her

Ciara is our new Executive Assistant! She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and she just graduated from CU Boulder with a BA in international affairs and Spanish. In her free time Ciara loves to cook, hike, and practice yoga. So far she has loved Seattle with it’s beautiful greenery and amazing coffee. Ever since her freshman year of college, Ciara has always known that she wanted to work for non profits. Before Friendship Circle, she interned for a variety of non profit organizations including Dental Lifeline Network and Comunidad Connect. There she gained experience in grant writing, social media creation, and administrative work. All of her experience and passion for helping others makes Friendship Circle a perfect fit!

Meet Jess Frankel Carrol - She/they

Jess is our new Volunteer and Programs Coordinator! Originally from Denver Colorado, Jess graduated from American University in Washington DC with a BA in Anthropology and Dance in 2021. She made her way from Washington to Washington for the beautiful scenery and delicious coffee. Jess is neurodivergent and Jewish so can't imagine a better place to have ended up than Friendship Circle! She's looking forward to meeting all our teen volunteers and helping them make meaningful changes in the lives of the kids and families we serve.

Meet Kimberleigh Bechtolt - She/her

Kimberleigh is our new Program Manager! She grew up in Metro Detroit, where she volunteered for Friendship Circle - Michigan. She graduated from The Ohio State University with BA in Psychology and obtained her Master’s in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University. She has been living in Seattle for 3 years. Her interests include hiking, sailing, paddle boarding, camping, snowboarding, and painting! She has worked previously as a Fundraising Coordinator for several nonprofit organizations. She is also involved in the camp community and has volunteered as a camp counselor and camp advisor—her camp name is Turtle! She has two pet tortoises named Clyde and Slightly.

We couldn’t be happier with our three new hires and we hope you can all meet them soon! If you need to contact them, you can find their information on the Friendship Circle website.
