Friendship Circle Summer Adventure Camp is designed as a typical day camp experience for children and teens with special needs, while providing necessary supports and therapeutic activities to keep participants safe and engaged. This year, our camp will take place at a different, exciting location each day! We have a blast visiting parks, zoos, and museums, while also engaging in some classic camp activities!

Prior to camp, skilled staff and therapists train a team of volunteers to help facilitate camp activities. For many volunteers, this is their first time working with children with special needs — a meaningful experience that will positively influence the rest of their lives. For our participants, this typical camp experience is one that is hard to find anywhere else. The sense of inclusion, importance, and participation in a loving community of peers is a beautiful and unique opportunity for these children.
